On June 22, 2024, at the 74th annual conference of the International Communication Association (ICA) held at Gold Coast, Australia, Professor Guoliang Zhang of the School of Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiao Tong University was awarded the B. Aubrey Fisher Mentorship Award. He is the second Chinese scholar and the first scholar from mainland China to receive this honor.
